Mine is too, but it always has been. I had a similar thought as you a week or so ago. But, as soon as I saw the guy place the motherboard over an oven burner (shielded by a casserole dish) I decided "I'm out!"
I think I'll just wait for mine to actually break before attempting any kind of internal cleaning or reapplication of thermal paste. Worse comes to worse, I'll just but a PS3 slim down the road for cheap.

you don't have to put it in an oven to replace thermal paste I figure if mines break I will get a slim or say frick it.

Oh, I know. He was just reheating the solder to simulate a full re-balling. However, I felt compelled to do the full thing for some reason. Regardless, it's working fine so I'm not going to risk it. Plus, as you've seen, it takes a decent amount of effort actually getting to the CPU. I have small kids and it's tough finding time and privacy to ensure that's a successful endeavor.

I'd guess not for a few days or until the weekend. People debating if the boxarts are real or not right now. If they're fake, it's the most convincing ones so far.
