Holy crap. Sportscenter just showed the hit.... That might be the worst call I've seen this year... Yes, all two games that I've watched thus far.

I hear Tulane was the lucky recipient of the first targeting call of the year and had a kid ejected.

The good news is we made sportscenter. Will probably be on college gameday too.

Sloppy but a win is a win. Montana looked like crap, hope it was nerves. Noticeable improvement in overall team speed and strength. At one point he had 6 true freshmen on defense; Sergio Medina had 4 tackles in his first college game.....repin' HHS.

Tulane needs to finish that campus stadium ASAP. The dome looks abysmal during their games.

We get probably our best player on D back next week and we get Doss back too (after he got ejected in the first quarter)

What a difference from 15 years ago-

98 Tulane 12-0, #7 in the nation

98 LSU 4-7, 2-6 in the SEC

Geez... it appears Tulane may be relevant enough(locally) to litter the MSB this year.

It maybe time for a Tulane Board to keep yall segregated even if its temporary...

I heard otherwise but admittedly did not watch myself.

Heard Montana was neutral. OL was subpar. WR weren't impressive. Heard great things about the DL which excites me.

Went and saw USA play last night, terrible coaching at the end, a missed fg and a blocked fg did us in. I'll be at the superdome for the Tulane vs. USA game though. Could be an interesting game but South has to play better to beat Tulane.

Jackson State had more total yards and first downs while dominating time of possession.

Tulane's schedule is pretty easy, but their QBs are bad. Their OL is not much better. Will be interesting to watch their season unfold.

Buddy sent me this

Tulane has a lot to work on but I don't think they showed everything. They ran the ball 40+ times vs less than 20 passes. They didn't need to do a lot and they realized it early. Schedule is weak so 6 wins is possible even if they don't improve a whole lot this season.

Few thoughts:
Montana got off to a bad start, but made a few nice throws. It was a very conservative game plan, tons of runs and about 15-20 pass plays.
OL is still questionable at best. The good news is the schedule is easy. USA should be another easy W next week. I would have marked Tulsa as an L, looks like that could be a W now.
