What I do know is autograph brokers are shady as hell, many of them got pissed at the Manziel's when they trademarked "Johnny Football" causing tons of items to get taken off EBay, and the two reporters involved have been flat out nailed being completely full of shite on "major" stories they rushed to break instead of doing due diligence on.

This would be the only way he actually gets busted. The ncaa doesnt have power of subpoena, and nobody's breaking laws unless taxes arent paid. Other than that, its just what people are willing to admit to or willingly provide evidence against somebody. The video evidence of him signing and how he answers questions will determine his punishment. A couple games vs cupcake teams sounds about right. Then the ncaa can appear tough but nobody really suffers.

No but the implication of your statement is that these same shady autograph brokers would have concocted this elaborate scheme to get back at Manziel. When in reality Manziel probably signed a shitload of autographs and was paid for them.

I personally don't have a problem with what Manziel likely did. The NCAA rule is stupid and will one day come crashing down around them. With that being said, Manziel knew the rule existed, likely broke the rule, and as a result put his team and teammates' dream of a great season in jeopardy. That is the harsh reality.

They need to just leave the Money Badger alone and let him do his thing! Who cares if he sold autographs?
