Thoughts on taking Graham and Gronk

I had my first draft of the season last night, 10 man, .5 ppr, 2 wr, 2 rb, 1 rb/wr/te. Luckily I drafted first overall, and went with AD. At the 2/3 turn I took Graham and Richardson. I drafted two wrs (Vjax and Cruz) at the 4/5 turn and at the 6/7 turn I picked up Gronk.
So basically I ended up with:
Ryan
Peterson
Richardson
Jackson
Cruz
Graham
Gronk (flex)
Has anyone here chose this strategy in previous drafts? My reasoning is that Gronk is safest for me because I already own Graham, so I'm only needing him to fill my flex spot, and at the same time I'm weakening an already weak position for the other owners.
Does this make sense to anyone else, or have I dun goofed?

I like the move for you. you can play gronk at the flex or even use him or graham as trade bait if he returns to his old self
