LOL yep.

Absolutely positive.

Not going into details but ummm... yeah. The consensus of every other person on the dock is that he is out of his mind and we all pulled our boats at the same time to escape it.

My particular bona fides are a psych degree and six years of working with the worst this state has to offer so when I see it, I know it.

I saw it.

We are about the most chill folks you'd ever want to come across. We do drink a lot though. But it's a happy drunk. Hard to be otherwise after sailing.

Sorry to hear about that situation faxis. You talking about Melvin's landing? Barron's? ArkLaTex landing?

Shreveport Yacht club sailor here. It's not really that expensive out there IMO and its completely worth it to keep your boat out there. They really take care of you at SYC and the new manager is cool. The benefits of being a member are awesome. At least give them a look if your previously mentioned plan doesn't pan out.

If yacht club is not in the cards, storing it off the lake somewhere and launching at the public launch by the police station would probably work. Or if your boat has a real shallow draft and an outboard you could even go out of the Richard Fleming launch.
