That's what I'm wondering. The article says she was arrested June 21st. It's been two months, why isn't the safe already opened?

I'm guessing they just now received the ballistics results showing that its a match to the murder weapon. Getting the search warrant should be fairly simple: just type it up and get the DA to sign off on it.
