Second series

-1st and 10. Smith is playing WILL. A run to the strong side. Smith is stood up by the left tackle. Not a factor in the play.

-1st and 10. Smith is playing SAM. Smith takes on a blocker. It’s a cut back run to his side. Smith disengages and makes the tackle. Holding call.

So are you trying to show that Smith didn't play well against the Raiders?

He did have a much better game than week 1, but I just dont see how anything good can happend when they ask him to cover a RB or TE.

I remember that play. I kept thinking, "He's too slow keep up with the TE who was behind him and too slow to go after the QB who was rolling out."

When he drops into coverage, he looks like the fat out of shape guy on a flag football team who they keep telling to play zone and count to 10 Mississippi because he's too slow to actually cover anyone.

We are a couple of stud lb's and stud db's from a Super Bowl. Just not enough stops on d to make it this year, but a good draft to pick up the rest of the pieces on D and we will win the Super Bowl in 2014 season. Oh and Paddy get up the good work man
