I really don't get how so many seem unexcited about Holiday. Yeah he's got some mediocre stats over the long term if you're looking for negatives, but his fit is great.

same people who were pumping up the year he was having last season are the ones complaining about the move to get him. it's unbelievable. dude's a team player, has a solid offensive game, plays solid defense, and he's a vast upgrade over what we had.

Moore gives Holiday love in the article. I think 2 things are at play here:
The trade upends conventional wisdom and its hard for pundits to accept that type of move on a young, lottery team.
The subsequent move for Evans makes the roster very unconventional. ~$35mil for 3 guards is a risk.
I think its a good risk, but still a little scary. Like he says, it will come down to coaching
