Vadal Alexander stepped into a starting role for the Tigers last season, and now there's another ESPN 300 recruit to watch in the trenches for 2013. Pocic, an early enrollee, was the No. 6-rated OT in his class but has also seen action with the first team at center in Baton Rouge. A big, physical lineman with good agility and balance, Pocic could end up seeing extensive time for LSU.

Freshman preseason polls? Is this really necessary?

I mean what did they do just create this list based off their recruiting rankings?

He's going to be a good one

I hope he gets on the post-season list. Congrats to Ethan, and to the coaches for bringing him to BR.

Of all the useless preseason polls and AA teams this one stands out.

Who is this Ethan Pocic kid? Is he any good?

Unless he beats out Porter, i don't see him getting a lot of time. OLine and QB are two positions that you don't do in a rotation, for a reason.

Zach Mettenberger stepped into a starting role for the Tigers last season, and now there's another ESPN 300 recruit to watch in the offense for 2013. AJ10, an early enrollee, was the No. 1-rated QB in his class but has also seen action with the first team at QB in Baton Rouge. A big, physical Quaterback with good agility and balance, AJ10 could end up seeing extensive heisman trophies for LSU.
