Another vote for Danners – if you are walking a lot I would go w/ uninsulated boots and merino wool socks. When I bird hunt in Canada in the winter and am walking I don’t use insulated boots. If you do get insulated boots don’t get super warm ones or your feet will sweat and be colder. You may want to get 2 pair an insulated pair for riding then hiking style for walking

I agree with this. That's why I said 400 gram or less, even though it is going to be 5deg. If you are sitting in a stand in 5deg weather, you would be ok with insulated boots. If you are still hunting/stalking/hiking, no way should you go with heavy insulation. I have hunted more than a few 10 deg mornings in just my uninsulated LaCrosse Alphas with two pair of good socks and been fine.
