Duck quesadillas, shrimp & crawfish enchiladas are terrific. Love the crab crepe 'enchiladas'! Dunno about anyone else but I'm a fan of the shrimp diablo quesadillas. Love that sauce. And normally sides are an afterthought at Mexican joints but I love many here and don't have an easy time picking. The grits, succotash, mashed potatoes are favorites. Hell even the basic rice is good.

I've never been to CB and I'm not against going to trying it. But these menu items sound more like Louisiana Mexican fusion then Mexican food. Don't get me wrong the items sound good but sometimes I just want to eat somewhere that doesn't have Louisiana themed dishes. Give me charro beans, corn tortillas, lime in my ice tea, and telemundo on the TV.

charro beans

CB has the best charro beans i've ever eaten. That and their rice. They do have mexican/louisiana fusion items, but their strictly mexican dishes are fantastic. Don't let that sway you.
