That wasn't the hidden ball trick, that was just Longoria realizing those idiots weren't paying attention.

Bush league shite.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with the hidden ball trick...

Nothing hidden about that.

I did it my senior year in the state semis and got the dude out. He and his first base coach like to engage in lengthy conversation while he was 5' off the bag. My pitcher tried a pickoff to no avail, I kept the ball, dude wandered off talking to his coach and I tagged his arse. Blue saw the whole thing go down and wrung him up. Tried to duplicate it later in the tourney when I was pitching and got called for a balk. <--CSB

Nothing Bush about that. They threw the ball around in front of Uribe and the 3rd base coach.

I don't think it's Bush in any circumstance. Pay attention. In this case, it wasn't even hidden. The ball was thrown to Longoria within 3 feet of the coach and runner.

I have no problem with it.

It's less bush league than the people who pretend to be hit with a pitch

Aren't pitchers not allowed to step on the rubber without the ball? I assume that is why they teach you not to lead off until the pitcher places his foot on the rubber.
Posted on 8/10/13 at 9:54 pm to BeYou
Correct. Uribe didn't take a lead, he just readjusted his foot. Sucks but that's the rules. Foot left the base.

How the fawk can you not see the ball thrown from the pitchers mound to the shortstop to the 3B?
Posted on 8/10/13 at 10:12 pm to tigerskin
Uribe and the coach were sleepin. Nothing bush league bout that.

As soon as Uribe stepped off he was tagged and called out. It fooled everybody, especially the Fox broadcasters.
Yes, but what was Puig doing on the play?
