He has 18 career TDs & 23 INTs

He has 40 career rushes (1 TD) & 25 fumbles (15 lost)

Someone please tell me that isn't real

This is false, and shows you weren't really watching LSU games that year or don't know anything about football.

it is very true

He led y'all to score a whopping 3 points against Auburn & 10 points against Florida. If he is even slightly productive scoring in either of those games, y'all win. If he doesn't fumble on the 1 yard line against UF, y'all win the SEC and destroy OSU 2 years in a row in the nc game

refs at Auburn.

same number of losses in 06 as in 07. Would have gone undefeated in 07.

Now
Any LSU poster hating on JaMarcus- you're an embarrassment to the rest of the fanbase. Unless he commits a violent crime, he should be cheered by TigerNation. He was a great QB at LSU and gave his all here. Some people didn't like that his white back up couldn't beat him out of the job everyday in practice for four years (redshirt), he was always a better QB. His biggest mistake (other going pro early) was letting his dumbass uncle be his agent. It was downhill from there.

JR still has a lot to prove. Teams won't give him a chance for losing weight and getting Garcia to mentor him. He'll get his shot sometime this season but the leash will be super short.

Unfortunately I think his career as an NFL qb are over. He may get a few tryouts for a couple of teams. It sucks bc he had all the potential to be a great qb, just didn't want it bad enough.

What he needs is some tryouts with a couple of CFL teams. If he goes there, there will be less media scrutiny. If he does well there, that will be his ticket back to the NFL.

Reality says helloooooooo

Flynn couldn't keep up with the porous defenses, and still got LSU 3 OTs

Against Auburn, last play of the game, JR throws the completion at the 7 yd line. WTF???? That's JJ level of stupid!

Against Fla, the QB fumbles on the goal line. That's almost unheard of.

You're ignoring everything else that happened in those 2 games and focusing on a handful of plays.

Try a deeper analysis instead of using sportswriter logic.

The lack of a decent O-line and fat running backs cost us both those games. Not Jamarcus.

The second half of the season when it all came together is when LSU started looking very good. The first half of 2006 was way shaky.

Face it, everyone.... there is a collective blackballing of JR by the NFL. He got a tryout with the Bears so the league can point to it and say, "See? He had every chance."

Doesn't help when you play for a hapless raiders organization and you're throwing to inexperienced garbage rookie WRs that should have been 5th rounders

Also doesn't help when you have zero pocket presence and struggle to call plays in the huddle.
