I tried to get it back in the spring since I drive 50+ miles a day in an SUV. Short credit history, and I was declined

I commute 100+ miles a day for work 5 days a week in a V8 truck.

I definitely plan on looking into this....

Good call, I have a spreadsheet tracking my gas spending for the year and I would benefit greatly with this card. Much less I would save over $1k by just having a car

Finally got everything in order and got the 1.99 for 60 on a used toy...

Was somewhat of a pain in the arse having to send stuff to them and then them forward it over to the loan officers in another state, but all worked out

When I financed my truck I got approved for a certain dollar amount then flew to Dallas and picked out a truck. Once I found one they overnighted a check and I drove home.

Yeah, I gave them the general amount and they approved it. Said as soon as I have a Purchase Order, fax it to them and they can overnight a check.

I bought a Jeep in December and it has just under 5500 miles on it now... That includes three different 1300 miles (round trips) down to the beach.

Only car... Just don't drive a lot here. Literally I drive to grocery store and Grandparents house. I also drive to work ( 1/2 mile) when it rains or is over 80 degrees.

I loved my Jeep. It was a blast to drive, but I don't think I could have it as an everyday car.

Not a wrangler... Grand Cherokee... I love it

Wanted a wrangler but could not justify it since I plan to drive until the wheels fall off. (Which I did with my last truck)

More interested in Chase Freedom... Not going to do anything before my renewal with Amex comes up next. There is no way they will get me to pay the $450 fee with the downfall of Delta's sky club.
