best golf course around long beach california

going to be there for 3 days in a couple weeks. beginner golfer but would like to play a nice course. any suggestions?

Trump National is right around the corner, it's on the ocean. Public, you can play twilight for only $80, regular greens fees are $280 if you play a morning round.
Aug. 25th they're having a big Wine and Beer festival there too. (which is why I know anything about Trump Nat'l)

black gold golf club looks great and is only 65 dollars and 45 minutes from long beach
