Serious word of advice, you may need to find a better source. Reporters/columnists get ostracized for relaying stuff their sources tell them that turns out to be false and it usually takes a long road back to being taken seriously.

You, sir, think Jrue Holiday is as tall as Anthony Davis and can't read.

I welcome you just ignoring the hell out of me.

You can try to pin some culpability on me, and that other guy Jabark, but I gave clear indications of the credibility of the into and analysis. You being too lazy to read it, or worse, just trying to cherry-pick something to make it look bad, is nothing to me.

If you can't see that this was an active situation where Oden's camp clearly got the Heat to `blink' by using potential interest in the Pelicans, I can't help you.

Again, I noted that I heard secondhand, etc. That is responsible.

How about no tier media guys?

And go read the statements.

Of course you won't, because you want to believe I was `calling' something.

You're media dude.

Like it or not, you relayed info from a source, which put you and BSS on the line because you felt it was legit enough that the public should know about it.

Media members get info tidbits from sources all the time, they only publicize the ones that they feel will come to fruition. If they are right, they gain a lot of clout going forward, if they are wrong, they gain a lot of negative stigma going forward.

That's the way the journalism game goes bro.

You just have no clue.

You have no clue about me or any kind of `stakes' in play, and your characterization of how things work is just wrong. So wrong.

I'm not, and most are not, buying your assignment of some weird standard on me or anyone else or a violation of that imaginary measuring stick.

I characterized the info I sent. If that's not good enough for you, read elsewhere . . . or do a better job . . . yeah, right.

I did post it for a reason: To share info with people. It was, again, characterized appropriately in black and white.

Quote it, and tell me it wasn't.

And quote it all.

Look at series of statements, as well.

Then tell me it wasn't passing on the contradictory rumors and analyzing them. People taking it the wrong way when care was taken to put in the caveats is on them.

Holy shite, and you think I don't have a clue???

It doesn't matter how much you "characterized" the info. It was your anonymous source. Unless you named him and said exactly how and why you got the info, the tweet that you went public with stops with you.

Turns out your source burned you.

You lost this one, 42.

I did read them all.

the first one was pretty definitive.

Then you came with the usual indecisiveness just in case it didnt pan out. So you can do exactly what you are doing now.

And I am fine with whatever the consequences of those actions are. I made my choices.

I just think your estimation of the effects are flat out wrong.

Yes, I think you have no clue OR, perhaps, you are simply making out to be completely daft.

So next time you run with something a source tells you we should...?

You think

"Just heard secondhand that Oden is NOLA bound. I believe who told me. Didnt ask about the chain.-42"

Is definitive?

And you really should stop assigning motives to my actions. You have me pegged wrong.

And you need to look at what happened. Again, clearly, Oden got more from the Heat than he had a week ago. Clearly, this was a ploy to get more from the Heat OR a real threat to sign with the Pelicans if they Heat didn't budge.

As I and others noted.

It's really just the same few of you trying to make this out to be more than it is EACH AND EVERY time with NO credit given for the clear and unambiguous hits. You want to talk about credibility: how about give good marks when warranted, bad marks when warranted. Only doling out the bad really makes you look biased. Yeah?

Does it really matter all that much? We have enough offense as it is, all we need from the center position is low post defense and rebounding. fricking Elton Brand can do that and come for less. If Oden would have worked out, what was his realistic ceiling? 50-70 games a season, 15-25 minutes a game and 10-8-1? That is easily replaceable.

Evaluate the statements on the merits you find in them. Duh. Same as today. Especially when you are allowed to see what I think of each piece of info.

That first sentence sounds like you mean he is. Or imply that he is. Fairly close to definitive.

To me it's the same rhetoric as saying "NOLA LOCK"

Maybe you should do that before you go public with them.

I did.

So did the Heat.

Note the previously unreported and likely new player option they offered him.

Or is this fact lost on you?
