Collins was one of the most electric running backs I have ever seen, I haven't seen how good LF is, how does LF stack up against collins. I have seen a lot of comparisons with adrian peterson which is amazing but a comparison with the diesel would have me salivating at the prospect of have fournette in purple and gold for the next 2 or 3 years.

I've never seen cecil play, but I would think LF is better. Was Cecil also the best player in the country?

LF is taller and bigger. Collins was shorter and compact.
LF takes big plays all the way to the house. Cecil lives in the Big House.

They are not even in the same world. LF is one of those rare guys with size, moves, hands, top speed, and power. I don't remember seeing CC being that fast.

FWIW, if you get to see JH33 this year he is the closest thing in CFB to LF. TJY4 at Bama would be up there too. It is not just the power or speed but when you add in the "hips on a swivel" the combination is what separates him from the field.

I think the best comparison for LF is Eric Dickerson. He's got a great cut move, just sticks that foot in the ground, drops his hips, and accelerates straight up field, just like Dickerson used to do.

He doesn't have Dickerson's graceful strides but he might be faster.

Collins was the best. LF has a chance to show equal or greater talent, but at this point, it is all an assertion until he does something in the SEC

Collins had the potential to be an all pro had he been sane.
