Opening with a top 20 win and being 4-0 going into the GA game will get us smack dab in the middle of the radar before the end of September.

LSU v GA will be top 10, maybe 7/8 matchup.

I feel really good about starting at 13. No target on our back, what so ever.

The proverbial target on the back means nothing whatsoever, it's a myth. Winning games is what matters. We lost 3 last year and return a team that most likely will not be as good

Being ranked high is great for penis flexing but nothing else. Ranking only matters after all regular season and conference championship games have been played.

Disagree. Under the BCS, there have been years where preseason rankings effectively determined who went to the NC game.

if we go 12-1 (beating bama & A&M, losing to either UGA or UF) we will be in the NCG.

13-0 is a lock

Is Stanford, Oregon, and ND really better than LSU?

The Ducks??? IMO yes.

Stanford??? Even

ND??? NO WAY..

LSU is even with Stanford, but much better than ND? Stanford and ND are about the same team - physical, good fundamentally, but missing the depth that SEC teams have. ND beat Stanford in a very tight game last year so I don't see much difference between them.

For the record, I think LSU is better than both.

Louisville is a joke.

I call SEC ignorance. Not sure how you think this, when a team dominates the team that beat you last year (UF) on a national stage, returns a Heisman contender and 15-17 starters, and you're still able to block this from your mind and assert that any team that's outside the SEC that hasn't won a National Championship recently is a joke?? They're basing some of this off schedule, and Louisville will be favored by 2 scores in every game they play. They're probably too low if you ask me because they'll end up finishing 2-4 and get shoved out of the BCSCG by an 1-loss SEC team because of their weak schedule. Doesn't mean I'd want to play them though.

Also, did someone really question Stanford and Oregon considering they're the best 2 programs outside of the SEC and tOSU and prove it every year??

I agree! I prefer to be ranked lower going into the season.
