Okay, if you can't even tell what bank you have your card with, we have problems.
There are several things you should probably educate yourself about the terms of your card before you wonder about vacation redemptions.
And yes, the name WOULD be a good place to start.
Edit: I think I misread, you are shopping around rather than owning.
The points above still stand, rewards take a back burner to other aspects, but the harsh tone is not as warranted.
