How to use Credit Card Points

With these credit cards that you can get and spend a couple thousand and get so many points to spend on airfare and such, what about if you're doing an all inclusive resort for vacation. Is there anyway these points can be applied to the airfare if its included or is there another way to use the points on the vacation?

What card are you talking about? The answer depends on the card.

Also, in my experience, your airfare is separate from an AI resort cost.

Yes, just have a credit statement.

Most of those you can redeem for cash, which might be a little less value than airfare, but would be easier for what you're trying to do.

It's actually rather disturbing that you think we can even hope to answer your question in any way, shape, or form without you even disclosing what card you have.
Even then it's iffy if we can answer.
Read FAQs for your card's rewards program, or even your cardholder agreement. That's what you are basically asking others to do for you and then come back and give you a summary.
My card allows me to spend it almost however I want in any way and they will reimburse me. It just needs to be catagorized by the merchant as being a travel position like airfare or lodging and they will reimburse.
Not all do that...for instance Capital one requires you to book your trip through their designated partner.
