re: Red fishing hooks

I use them exclusively when fishing for trout whether I'm rigging a popping cork or Carolina rig, and I believe that I lose fewer fish than with a Kahl hook. I also use flourocarbon leader. My buddies that I fish with are somewhat skeptical about whether I need to use the flourocarbon, but my feeling is that one should give himself the best chance to catch fish in all conditions.
