Bama has lost a game in November every season this decade. Yet they have two national titles in this decade despite "not taking care of business". Not just losses, but LATE losses. These were crippling to every team in college football history, except this era of Bama teams.

Let's be fair. LSU lost the last game of the regular season in 2007.

They then took care of business in the SECG, and the planets aligned to send them to the title game.

And then went to ATL and won the SECCG with a backup QB. The same day that the #1 and #2 team lost their actual last game of the year, (one of which was not even an upset as Oklahoma had already beaten Missou once before and was FAVORED to beat them again).

LSU then jumped VTech, who they beat by 41 earlier in the year, Georgia, who was also idle due to not winning their division to represent the East in the SECCG after losing to UT by 21, and fricking KANSAS who beat ONE ranked team all season, #24 Kansas State who didn't even end up going to a bowl game.

Pitt upset West Virginia after Pat White got hurt. That is all that needed to happen once LSU beat UT to win the SEC.

It wasn't even a close vote.

Pitt upsetting WV is no bigger of an upset than Iowa State beating OSU in 2011 for Bama (that's assuming the OSU kicker missed that FG, which I to this day am not convinced he did: LOOKS GOOD TO ME).

The "planets aligned" BS is just uninformed regurgitation of ESPN propaganda.

I was just commenting on the late losses comment.

I don't really deserve the attack.

It took you multiple paragraphs to explain the scenario that got LSU back into the title game. I never said it was a fluke, but come on LSU needed some help. If they hadn't already beaten Tech handedly then they may never have recovered.
