Slow afternoon here. Thought I'd post some photos when I last made shrimp burgers.

What I use for two shrimp burger patties:

Measurements are approximate and vary every time

20 peeled shrimp
2 Tablespoons Panko crumbs
1 Tablespoon Hellman's
2 teaspoons garlic salt
1 teaspoon Slap Ya Mamma creole seasoning (should use at least double this amount)
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 Tablespoon green pepper
1 Tablespoon chopped onion
1 Tablespoon chopped celery
1 egg

Shrimp into the small bowl of food processor. I can't remember who here gets upset when I don't devein shrimp, but I usually don't and didn't devein these. I never devein my oysters.

Shrimp all chopped up.

Stuff added:

Patties in sauté pan with a touch of oil to pan fry.

Serve on butter toasted buns with mayo, lettuce and tomato. Kettle chips are always nice. Cold Beer is always needed.

Closer shot:

Probably would improve the taste to add a touch of crab boil oil to mixture but I was out. How anyone runs out of crab boil oil I can't imagine.

How do you consume sliced onions in your milk? Use your fingers? Out of curiosity

Yum.

I feel like I'd really like that with some remoulade spread on the bun and shredded iceberg.

I was expecting a Roul's-type creation here. In other words, a regular beef burger with shrimp piled on top.

Needless to say, this looks way fricking better.

Looks good, but I have some sort of weird thing about fish or shrimp burgers. Just the thought of them makes me a little sick. I love crab cakes, however. Go figure.
