Word was he was pressing too much last year to fill Mathieu's play making shoes and lost sight of his general responsibilities on the field.

He was valuable in the A&M game. Once Chavis went to a 3 man line and put Eugene in the game JFF stopped running wild

I'm glad he's come back down to earth. We may never see the things TM7 did on the field again

Seems that alot of our players were trying to do that last year...

Seems like a lot of people are forgetting that Eugene was just a redshirt FR last year and will be a redshirt soph this year. Dude still has a lot of time and room to grow and improve. I thought he was solid when got in. Made some plays, made some mistakes. Just like every young DB we had out there.

I really really like Eugene when he is in the "spy" position. Really changed the gave vs TAMU.
