Not taking anything away from our championship seasons. But, every team that wins a Natl Champ has some luck throughout the season. If TigerDew things Bama has been extremely lucky in there championships, then ours were just as lucky or more, considering we had 1 and 2 losses.
2003 was the 1 the least lucky 1. And Saban was the coach. 3 teams tied with 1 loss, USC and us were 1 and 2 in both polls, but the BCS puts us and Oklahoma in it. We win the game and the Coaches poll, USC was #1 in AP Poll.
Then, LeSean McCoy has the game of his career vs WV in the last week of the regular season and that puts us in the Natl Champ.
Not taking anything away frmo those seasons, but to say that Bama was very lucky in 3 championships and we werent is just wrong. Every team has some luck when it comes to winning a Natl Champ.

The whole nick saban thing sounds kinda weird. Like poster above said, we probably would have had different coaches anyways. Don't see how that would have been deciding factor if there was something to decide to begin with

Ummm, Saban doesn't have 4 at Bama and who said we weren't?
If the OSU kicker doesn't shite the bed @ Iowa St in 2011 or if we just convert one first down last year or if tOSU didn't opt for probation, Nick still has 1. Hell, in his undefeated season he needed a miracle blocked FG @ UT. It's not like he's been dominating every team he faces.

To go with you on the luck saban needed Oklahoma state to lose twice and it didn't happen he got a 2nd chance against us at that. Last year they pulled it out in death valley but lost to a&m and everybody else lost to and Ohio state couldn't play for the bcs.....
