all but one for me, the biggest deer i killed i shot in the neck and he dropped, all the others ran off and i had to track them down, usually a couple hundred yards.

The only one I shot in the neck dropped instantly, but kept picking up his head to look around. For a few minutes I had him in the cross-hairs wondering if I should shoot again. He eventually gave up the ghost.
