Me and my buddy had a good talk about that bridge the otherday. This is The question that I brought up to him.

What extent would you go to if you hooked a tagged redfish on the bridge with 12 pound test?

He said he would give me the rod and jump off the bridge to get him. But I told him it probably wouldn't count because I would have the rod when the fish is landed.

I said depending how he was hooked. Let him swim out
Walk all the way down the bridge and land him off one of the piers.

I've done this for a non tagged fish on the old bridge. Sucks if there is a lot of people on the bridge.

Good way to break your legs or back. It's about 2 feet deep on the west end for a long way out.

Probably just use my pier net (or someone else's if I didn't have mine with me- someone always has one)
