Soooooo, they were IN the room when it occurred. Must I remind you that "several different sites" post "offers" for umpteen players all the time and they end up being "noncommittable"?

You can remind of that all you want, doesn't make it true.

Billy Bob, I will give him credit on his tackling...sometimes he does the typical "Craig Loston/Eric Reid shock to the ground" tactic but he actually does the lost art of "Bradie James wrapping up" quite a bit also.

So this kid has a great day against the all world WRs at camp and you think he shouldn't get an offer?
Unless Miles and co confidently think he is better than the worst of the group of DBs we are still recruiting. If that's Johnson, I wouldn't be disappointed. If we end up taking Battle, Johnson, Chark, and this guy instead of Brown and Jones I will be extremely disappointed.
It's worse if we offer, they commit, and then other players want to commit down the line and we have to tell our already committed players to take a hike. I like to hope that the staff is better than that.

How did Johnson look at camp today?

You think we'd turn down Brown and Hootie?
Dude, I don't even know how to respond to that,

Did he make it yet? I don't recall hearing his name today

Guy, it is true all the time. You must be the only person on the planet who thinks Cameron Sims could walk into the midget's offer and accept his offer and then fax in next Feb. You REALLY think that everybody is now predicting Ole Miss for Sims because he chose them over Alabama? Really?

You stopped reading there? I qualified the statement literally in the next sentence.

I've been following all of the camp threads and I don't remember hearing anything about Johnson, Chark, or Upchurch. I heard that Voorhies performed really well, but I think that was yesterday.

I will guess he might make a better CB than a safety...pretty light for a safety

What does Cameron Sims have to do with recruiting site knowing whether a kid has a commitable LSU offer or not?

The ONLY way this isn't a certifiable/insane asylum offer, and this very well may be the case, if is either Rhaheed and/or M Johnson aren't welcome anymore. Of course Johnson never had an offer but my guess is Rhaheed burned his bridge with the decommit, and I'm not sure Johnson was as high on LSU's radar as was represented by just about everybody..including the services I might add.
I will be disappointed like you if LSU knows they are going to lose say a T Brown or a H Jones, and this is their alternative.

He's suggesting that offer lists on the recruiting sites are either unreliable, incomplete, or outdated. The implication is that Sims' 'offer' is contingent upon him successfully recruiting other players to Alabama and that it would not be offered if his teammates decided to go elsewhere.
Purple, it has been reported here before that Rhaheed was likely to have his offer rescinded by the staff eventually. As far as most of us know, he no longer has the opportunity to be part of LSU's class.

The video had him listed at 170 lbs...obviously last year's action.

Wow.. That's about as under the radar as it gets. I am super curious about this kids skills now.

I know exactly what he's suggesting. But I'm not talking about Bama offers and their recruiting sites. I'm talking about LSU recruiting sites and LSU offers. So Cameron Sims has no use in this conversation.

My point was that the word "offer" is thrown about incredibly freely these days. There are examples all over the place where kids SUPPOSEDLY had offers, but didn't. Remember Adam Taylor from last year's class who said "I accepted the offer to play at LSU". Uh, do you know if Taylor is going to be RSed at LSU, because of course we all know he did NOT have a committable offer even though the services said he did.
