247 and BBI. Who both have contacts on LSU's coaching staff and are both extremely diligent about verifying whether or not a kid can commit or not.

So, it looks like Rhaheed, M Johnson, and Valentine are all of the board which at least makes the numbers deal a little saner. Still doesn't say whether Ramirez deserves an offer if he has one but a lot of LSU fans (me included) expected at least of those 3 to sign with LSU. Now, it looks like none of them will.

Sorry, my crystal ball is in the shop. So far I haven't seen where you named the services you were using as confirmation of James Smith's claim.

If you're that worried about it type his name in a search engine and see for yourself. At least 3 pay sites are all reporting the same thing at the exact same time. It isn't a coincidence.

Thanks Project I didn't mean to pry into who you subscribe too, but you probably see my point of view...OK, maybe not. You wanted me to tell you which services I was quoting but you didn't tell me which ones you were quoting about Ramirez.

with you now, hope you are with me. Of course, I will let the James Smith comment slide.

This. These kids grow. They develop. Recruiting sites can't always keep up. With the DB offers that we have out there, I know that this kid had to have absolutely kicked butt today.

Sonny wrote an article about him in Feb. He said he was 6'1" 166 lbs. at that time.

ETA: He's been at the bottom of the safeties in the sticked thread since then.
I'll get over there, move him in with the offered guys, change his ht. & wt. and add his HUDL film ASAP.

I'm doing it now...so far, Rivals and 24/7 do NOT have him with an LSU offer. Scouts does and says his other offers are Memphis, Air Force, and Southern Miss. ESPN doesn't even have him listed as a prospect, so I'm not sure where you got the 3 out of 4 from. More like 1 out of 4.

Thread still on topic. The topic is Ramirez. I and some others have questioned how the guy is rated, who has offered, etc. If that does not interest you, I bet you can skip over these messages that offend you. Pretty silly statement trying to act like this topic has been hijacked or derailed. Nonsense really!

It has been a pissing match between you and project. And just to help you out the general rule is if an instate kid gets an offer from LSU it IS committable. Now an OOS kid is a different story which Sims to Bama would fall under that category.

I don't know whats so hard to understand? The kid EARNED his offer today in camp, in front of the LSU coaches, against some of the best WRs in the nation.

Ha ha ha
This kid was a blanket today from all reports. Far as Brown and Hootie their slot is secured. So please don't let Clemson or any other fans come in here and discourage you. From all reports this kid showed out with all the talent that was there. From reports he frustrated a lot of receivers today.

The Clemson people are mad because of Trey Quinn stated that he will commit before school and LSU was the last program he will visit.

No, it wasn't a pissing match at all. I wanted to verify the offer with services since he mentioned it. So far, 3 out of 4 services do NOT have him with an LSU offer. I can't even find the guy on 24/7 and Rivals and ESPN do not have him with an offer...only Scouts.com does.

As far as a kid being absolutely able to sign with LSU, that might be news to Tevin Lawson last year. His offer might have been committable but his signature certainly wasn't. Same with Chuck Baker in the same class. Same with Porter that year when LSU ran out of scholarships...same with the OL who wanted to enroll early and ended up at Auburn because LSU couldn't take him due to lack of graduation of one of the players in Dec and the late temporary addition of Gunner Kiel. This is NOT a criticism of LSU because it happens everywhere. You DID say "general rule" but I just gave 4 exceptions in the last 2 years.

Once again, we will see...I do think that Johnson, Rhaheed, and Valentine obviously being off LSU's board opens up a spot for a sleeper.

Earning a fairly out of the blue offer as a DB with the talent coming in at DB AND WR goes to show what the staff thinks of him. Congrats to the kid and hope to see him in PnG.

Guys definitely get lost in the crowd sometime. But this late in the camp seasons, I would just hope for more offers outside of LSU than Southern Miss, Memphis, and the Air Force. Wonder if he has been to any other camps? I think Scouts.com only had the "Camp" box checked for LSU, so maybe that was the issue. I do know that Morris Claiborne wasn't exactly a hot commodity and few offered him and he was rated poorly and he turned out pretty darn good.

HUDL ran really slow on my old Toshiba using the newest available version of Mozilla Firefox for Windows XP.

Runs great on this new laptop that has a Core 5 Pentium processor using Windows Explorer.
