But the way he was described dancing and facing is like a puppet. So I saw the smiling guy being controlled by an unseen puppet master.

Similar to a H.P. Lovecraft story.

Very good read.

Cave story seems so fake to me. No names, no locations. It's all so perfect for a cliffhanger.

then all of a sudden I get a loud splash screen with a freaky face that's screaming or something. Like, BOO! Ha-ha, gotcha.

I'm in my office. I was reading it, and a loud thunder clap happened outside. I jumped and screamed.

I'm reading it too, but I fricking can't stand the black background with light letters...that shite is hard to read and is fricking with my eyes.

Might want to get your eyes checked then buddy. White letters on a black background is alot easier on the eyes.

The downtown dancing joker story is the most disturbing so far followed closely by the staged highway murder.

The old man with no senses was just fricking depressing.

A Vietnam veteran came to speak to my English class, and told us this story: So it was during one of the town raids where everybody is shooting everything. He walked into a bar, and behind the bar he saw two women, who he went over to try and help. He heard a crunching noise behind him, turned around, and a third woman with a machine gun shot him in the chest. He said he remembered hearing another gun shot as he was falling over. So he goes to a hospital, gets all fixed up, and comes back home. Fast forward 18 years, he's in line buying coffee, and he hears a woman in front of him speaking Vietnamese. He could also speak Vietnamese, so he understood her, and he responded to one of her comments with some snarky pun. She turns around, it's the same woman that shot him in the bar, with one of her friends who was behind the bar. He insisted to buy her coffee, and as they say together, he asked why she did it. She said "I was being hunted on both sides, everyone wanted to kill me, so I just shot. Didn't matter who it was." They talked more and discovered that the gun shot he heard was his friend who tried to save him by shooting her. She was in the exact same hospital as him, but one level up, and then she moved to the same suburb he lived in in America. He was crying by the end. I always get the chills.

Okay...all seriousness.

From when I was 5 until I was 20, I would occasionally have a dream where I was looking out of a window. Outside of the window, it was nighttime, but illuminated by full moonlight. There was a low-fog hugging the ground (like there was a fog machine).

Then, a figure with long White hair and a white gown (with a green tint) would slowly pass in front of the window from the right. It would stop dead center of the window, then slowly turn towards the window.

I could not really see the face, and right when I tried to focus, the figure would rush towards the window, with the head crashing through the glass and what was a skeletal head with thin flesh over it shreiking in my face.

Within 2 weeks, a relative of mine would die.

UDtiger.

You're describing a banshee.

What's your lineage, if I might ask?

There's a couple of his that are similar.

Going with literature, one of the freakiest, if not the most, was the tale of the schoolteacher in the novel Ghost Story.

That chapter just filled me with a sense of dread. I remember not being able to sleep after reading that one.
