Does anyone know what's the best travel card backed by MasterCard?
I already have AMEX Cash rewards card.
The reason I want to know is that I spend quite a bit at Sam's Club, which accepts MC. I know the chase sapphire preferred would not work since it's backed by VISA.

Yikes, good question. Hopefully we get some more input, but I would think something from Barclays would be in the running.
3 options include:
US Airways (Get this ASAP if you want it before Barclay has to drop it due to the merger with American, which could be any day now).
Lufthansa - 35,000 bonus but it goes to 50k occasionally
Barclay Arrival World Mastercard with $89 Annual Fee. This one is a fixed value card, but you get an effective rate of 2.2 points per dollar on it.
I think Citi has Mastercards as well so let me check.
Ya, the American Airlines card is a mastercard as well. So a good strategy could be to secure the US Airways card now. Get that bonus. Then get the AA card as well. You'll have about 60,000 miles between the two of them on the merged airline.
