Until you fix it, it is considered broke and lipstick on a pig. Hiring your buddy who got fired for the same antics isn't enough to consider the offense fixed until you have live game proof and even then it has to overcome the losses on offense.
So Chavis was considered lipstick on a pig to you huh?

A lot of people are butthurt about all these articles and preseason predictions
Yeah so what? Me personally I don't like them because they do half arse research siting how our defense will regress because of the people we lost but give a pass to Florida, A&M and UGA and they've lost just as much(starting talent).
I can't say too much on them about the offense articles, but hiring a former NFL coach and OC who has mentored some of the greatest QBs, TE's, and RBs of the past decade, does not equal putting lipstick on a pig.
I've seen a few of your recent posts and you sound like this guy I use to work with before the 2011 season. Kept telling him don't believe in the doom and gloom and decline(this after the spring game and JJ arrest). After that offseason of uncertainty, we had possibly our best season ever.

You should have been butthurt about our offense the last 8 years, we'd have a few more championships. After all, what happens on the field is what really matters.
We've averaged over 30 ppg 4 times in the last 8 years and only 1 time in 8 years have we averaged less than 29.5 and that was 2009.
Ranking our best two offenses over last 8 years with this year's spread/option/no huddle nation:
2007 19th with 6361
2006 41st with 5571
But if we do every season's ranking in the year they were ranked you'd get:
2005 #34
2006 #14
2007 #9
2008 #51
2009 #102
2010 #81
2011 #57
2012 #77

DBB, you are correct about UF, UGA and A&M losing a lot of players but are getting a pass. UGA lost just as much talent on D and had a worse D last yr than us. Everyone is chalking UGA up as a loss.
