As I watch our team evolve the last 2 years I clearly see the resemblance of San Antonio. Dell has slowly put in place what was so successful with the Spurs. Start with a dominate power forward ( Tim Duncan) Anthony Davis and a pick and roll scoring PG (tony Parker) J.holiday. If you noticed San Antonio has never put big stock in a center bc Duncan can play the 5 just like AD will be able to so I do not expect is to go after big dollar centers. Their 3 has always been a defensive minded player which is why I think AI is a perfect fit. Obviously Davis and holiday are not Parker and Duncan yet but you can see the resemblance of what Dell is trying to do IMO Thoughts?

Their first 2 ships, they had the admiral. 2nd two they had a stock pile of Cs and Robert Horry. They have great scouts to get international centers. We don't.

I'd feel a lot better getting Jonas val or pek than I would tyreke or buddinger. Especially since AD isn't as large or strong as Timmy.

Most of the success the spurs have had is due in large part to their coach. The spurs have been taught to seamlessly pass around the whole court. They also have shooters at nearly every position. That's why I'd like to have a shooting SG, someone like Deng, and someone like Val

sounds silly but i've always said they sold themselves short from this.

Yes, but many of their 3's could still shoot the 3. At least in many of their most successful seasons anyway...
