I'm not sure low iq types watch a show like Mad Men. Metaphors, imagery are abundant in that show, plus it's a character driven, not plot driven show.In addition to the lack of violence makes the show hard to watch for the feeble minded.

I would say The Wire, but that show had violence and a ton of black people. When BET edits out the white characters to play to it's own viewers, you know the IQ level varies(much like why people differ on their views of The Wire).

Breaking Bad also falls into this problem. Literally the very first guy I know to start watching BB is because it was about meth. No lie the guy looks just like this guy on the show:

My nephew's wife is more the "Monster Truck" type, or that Jersey Shore TV show with Snooki. She likes that too. But her favorite is "The Newsroom". Says it's the best show on TV.
