Ex NBA player Gilbert Arenas busted with a truck load of illegal fireworks

Too many damn laws in this country these days. This is legal, this is not, this is legal on Tuesdays from 3pm-7pm, that is illegal on Sunday afternoons after on leap year's when the groundhog sees doesn't see its shadow, etc.

You would think if you are driving with a suspended license and a truck bed full of fireworks that you wouldn't speed at 2:30 in the MORNING when usually the only other people on the road are those leaving the bars and clubs

Per the LA Times, some areas of LA allow "safe and sane" fireworks, but these are prominently marked with a state seal.
"Safe and sane" apparently means "anything that doesn't explode or fly", meaning pussy shite like snakes and sparklers.
From what the pictures show the Chips pulling out of his car, there's no way that stuff qualified as "safe and sane".
And BTW... just because it's a stupid fricking law doesn't mean that someone can be blatant in breaking it. Dumbass had at least 200 pounds of fireworks and the bomb squad had to come take possession of this shite.
I've shot a good number of fireworks in my day but I'm not sure I've done 200 pounds worth period, let alone in one season.
