If Washington takes Porter, Charlotte takes Bennett, leaving McLemore, Dipo and Burke on the board for the Suns. They take Dipo, hands down.

If Wash takes Bennett, I'm not 100% sure that Charlotte takes Porter. I think they take McLemore or Dipo in that scenario.

I don't give a rat's arse which team takes Bennett as long as someone does before we pick.

Bennett is the one player in the top tier we really can't use, so him being off the board raises the chances of getting someone useful.

Magic GM said today he would be "stunned" if a deal with #Clippers occurred on draft day or draft night.

Magic GM Rob Hennigan said the Magic and Clippers haven't spoken/talked trade for about 3 weeks.

#Magic GM Hennigan said he hasn't had discussions with #Clippers in 3 weeks. Said he "hasn't gotten the memo" about Afflalo-Bledsoe deal.

Denials are pretty common and "no trade on draft night" can easily be honest deception via word parsing, but I saw another rumor that the Clippers wanted much more than Afflalo for Bledsoe. If they are seriously overvaluing him, maybe the Magic move on and take Burke.

Cleveland pushing to acquire Dallas' 13th overall pick, with a focus on drafting Russia's Sergey Karasev, league sources tell Y!

Cleveland believes it has to get ahead of Milwaukee at 15, but it's possible Cavs need to get even higher to assure Karasev will be there.

That's assuming Noel goes 1st. If he drops then they pick Noel over Burke.

Speaking of Orlando Centers. Oh how the mighty have fallen. I never thought I'd see the Lakers beg

Of course McNamara wants to take it. He said "You know how I feel about the 2014 pick."

Does anyone really know how he feels about it? I know I, and everyone else on the planet, feels that 2014 will be a much stronger draft. Does he not understand the proposed trade?

He's said that the 2014 draft is being over valued in part because this draft is so weak, so sell high.

1. If this draft is so weak that it overvalues a whole different crop of players(which I don't think is the case at all), then why would we want to give up that much to go to #1?

2. You can easily reverse that and say, that this draft is being undervalued because of how strong next years is (which I don't think is the case either).

I think the scouts and experts are smart enough to analyze each draft and the players in them individually.

Also, forget about the Chris Copeland rumor. From what I've heard, #Pelicans haven't even brought up his name internally.

This could easily be misinformation like "We didn't want Aminu hearing about his replacement until we have the deal signed."

I don't want to turn this into a 247/BSB bash party (they have actually had a lot of good content this offseason), but that's what gets me about them, and most people who criticize them. Maybe he's right, and we have no interest at all in Copeland- but I really don't think that because Mason Ginsberg didn't hear about it, doesn't make it true.

Mason seems pretty on the level and he posts here so he can correct me if I'm wrong, by my take isn't "I haven't heard my team sources mention Copeland" but "I asked my team sources about Copeland and they said he hasn't even been discussed".
