I m a huge LSU fan some say homer. But i actually believe what i say so not sure if thats considered being a homer! I for one can stand to watch the game and omaha used to be my secound favorit big sporting event to watch behind football. But if they continue to keep things the way they are i will not watch it ever again. #notfunanymore

I'm sure ESPN ratings will do just fine without your TV tuned in

Lyle you are one contradictive homer.

Good point & one that even a broadcaster tonight made. Some things must be done. I watched far less of the championship round, UCLA vs. Miss. St., than I ever have.
I'll be interested to see how much their ratings will dip.

It's worse than softball, they've ruined college baseball.

It really did suck. I found myself channel surfing during the LSU games.
During tonight MSU/UcLA game 2 I turned it and ended up watching that comedy show on TBS about the nerd scientists.

Yes you will. If LSU is in it, you will watch no matter what.

As a fan of another school whose team is likely in it as well---they will watch. But few others find this brand of baseball exciting. How many times did I hear the announcer say, well that ball is gone in 98% of all other parks? UCLA has a great pitching staff. But 4 runs in 5 games?

this brand of baseball doesn't penalize pitchers for bad pitches, what is fun about that?
it is just wrong and a terrible way to play a game

I keep seeing this.....you realize that a double down the lines or to the gap is penalizing the pitcher for the high pitch as well right (it sure penalized MSU pitchers last night). You don't have to get under the ball all the time. I guess adjustments are a thing of the past though. As far as high pitches out of the zone....lay off (LSU missed that last memo BTW).

Or to the gap
There were fewer balls to the gap than home runs.

This year was the most boring shite I have ever watched. Rather watch paint dry. Until they change something, I want watch even LSU is i it!

So did anybody complain last year? The year before? This is the first year that I remember all the bitching about the CWS. I have no idea why this years games were so bad, but the TDA stadium has not change from the day it has opened.
That being said, it WAS brutal to watch.

F it...lets go back to the 98 bats, the minor leage ball, and move the fences in at every park to 330 in center.
Now lets go get 'er done offense

There must have been some plausible reason for the long ball/balls hit to the gap to go down, and home run numbers go from 45 to 3:
Winds, outfield fences, ball stitching, bats,
excellent pitching, or a combination thereof.
But even if you change the first four, there was still excellent pitching this year.
We just didn't get a chance to showcase all of ours due to errors, men LOB, etc. I would have loved to have seen Rumbelow, Cotton, McCune etc. show more of their stuff.
