Also, thought the boss got it right at the back too.. Skrtel and Sakho were very solid...

I will admit I'm a little nervous with Navas up against Flanno next week...

On another note, I gotta imagine this is why the penalty was called... you can just grab a dudes ankle..

so funny to see on the Chelsea board them praying we win, or else they basically have no chance at the title….

Think we have to play either Allen or Lucas in midfield to help Flanno out. I'd guess probably for Coutinho.

How's that funny? I'm sure we were all rooting for arsenal last week against city.

probably cause we control our own destiny and don't really have to (though I will) root for anyone but ourselves to win...

We'll see if that's the case after you have played City twice.

I keep trying to put this season into perspective. Prior to the start, I would have taken 4th all day everyday, but now that we're so close, I want it all. I know it will be tough with Chelsea and City remaining, but damn this has been a fun ride

I'm not saying you should be "worried" because who would be worried about our strikeforce? And City are the clear favorites, but you have an interesting definition of "solidly". We still control our own destiny against you even if you beat City next weekend.

Earth shattering insight from a booger eating wrestling fan. Shouldn't you be with the rest of the mouth breathers in the Superdome, screaming at every genetically advanced scripted arm chop?

Go play in the Chelsea thread.

Some handle is better than others, maybe this guy is just starting to crack under the pressure.

Not cracking at all. Just not impressed with your analysis of "we control our own destiny against you." No shite? This isn't the WCW, there isn't a foregone conclusion. Your pointing out that a team controls its destiny against an opponent is the same kind of riveting commentary as me saying that there are 22 starters in the pitch, and, in case anyone was wondering, they'll be using a ball and not a hockey puck.

It's pretty obvious, no?

Nice story about Suarez, from the LFC reddit site..

quote:

Bit more background due to interest. Initially he just ran over and took the ball of my cousin . My uncle (pictured) didn't realise it was Suarez initially and thought it was just some annoying man. Luis was interacting with my cousin and letting him nutmeg him. Yes that's right, my seven year old cousin has nut-megged Suarez. Obviously my uncles was mind blown once he realised it was Suarez and asked for the picture. Now my cousin when he grows up has a picture with one of the best Liverpool players to grace anfield. So thanks Suarez. What a guy you are. This was around all the Evra/ivanovic drama, and made my believe he has a true compassion.
