I don't like this as a potential landing spot for Jozy because they finished 17th last year. They are likely to be relegated next year, and the worst thing for a player's development is constantly moving around from club to club. If they are relegated, Jozy is going to have to join yet another team after the World Cup, and he will be put in a tough position because he will be joining a new team after a very tiring summer.

Best for Jozy if he either stays at AZ or goes to a team that guarantee him playing time and a top 15 league finish.

The stakes would be high, no doubt. If Sunderland brings Jozy aboard, they are looking for him to score goals. If he can't find the back of the net and they end up being relegated, it would be a disaster all around.

Still, he would get playing time and they would definitely get a chance to finish in the top 15. If they happened to finish around 12-14, the season would be considered a success and if Jozy assisted in that then his stock and confidence would rise even more.

Its not ideal by any means, but it does offer opportunities.
