I completely get what you are saying.

But now he has another chance with potential for tangible productive results...as in scoring, not just big picture, development and growth results.

There is a group of people out there that think Jozy cannot score against tough defense. He has been on a streak with his latest form for USA and with this recent year in the Eredivisie.

This seems like a good step to take on his natural progression as a player. Even if Sunderland is not exactly sexy.

I don't like this as a potential landing spot for Jozy because they finished 17th last year. They are likely to be relegated next year, and the worst thing for a player's development is constantly moving around from club to club. If they are relegated, Jozy is going to have to join yet another team after the World Cup, and he will be put in a tough position because he will be joining a new team after a very tiring summer.

Best for Jozy if he either stays at AZ or goes to a team that guarantee him playing time and a top 15 league finish.
