Are you guys as surprised as I am that Moyes hasn't tried to raid Everton? Baines and Felliani are pretty realistic options.

Yep.

I've been on the SIGN FELLAINI bandwagon since last summer. I guess they don't read my emails.

Read that Evans hobbled off the field today. Still don't know how to react to that news

I don't understand why they haven't gone after another defender or two...Rio, Vidic and Evra are injury prone and getting oooollldddddd

I'm not that surprised. There have been rumors that Moyes had a deal in place with Everton that he wouldn't raid them. Not sure if its true, or just man's handshake agreement or what. And to be honest, there aren't any Everton players that would make us that much better in my opinion. Fellaini could play alongside Carrick in a 4-2-3-1, I guess.

Baines would've been a heck of a signing, too.

I have to say that because of this transfer window I'm not real excited about the start of the season. I hope we can find someone to bring in but I'm getting less and less hopeful of a big signing.

Yeh, he would have. I'm a huge Evra fan (oh god everybody finna hate me), and I still think he's damn good. I'd really prefer to go a little younger than Baines, but wouldn't have been upset at all to sign him.

Felliani would be a nice partner in midfield. Baines is an amazing LB going forward.

You like Buttner, don't you? Still not overly impressed with him.

I do like him, but I'll agree with you if you are saying you don't think he's the future at this point in time. He's got some more time to develop, though, and with Fabio returning we have 3 options and left back and some time for one of them to step up to the plate.

I'm a Fabio fan. I'd love to see the twins become top-level starters together.

Fabio is not nearly as good as his brother, who is probably the best RB in the league.

Oh, I know. One is naturally going to be better...but I think Fabio could develop to be a top (not the top, exactly) LB in the Prem.

Huge fan of Rafael. Almost got his jersey last year before settling on Valencia.

Even though he had a down year, I'm still Tony's #1 fan.

I'm a big fan as well. Kid can ball. He's 23, he'll struggle for consistency until he's 24 or 25, but I'd take him on my team any day.

"Off to Manchester United"

Good move for MU imo as it seems all but official, I am a big Fellaini fan. Plus, United need a Belgian if they want to keep being a title contender, so this is good for them in that regard too.

I WANT TO BELIEVE

Hopefully I'll find some more info on this in the morning. Want something a bit more concrete before I get real excited.

If this move happens...I might not wear pants for the next two weeks.

Love me some Marouane.

ETA: The Mirror...

"David Moyes has launched a bid for Marouane Fellaini - signalling the end of Manchester United's pursuit of Cesc Fabregas.

United boss Moyes has returned to Everton, the club he left for the champions last month, for the Belgium midfielder - who has had a £23.5million buy-out clause allowing him to move to a Champions League club this summer.

However, it is understood that United's valuation is not as high as that, so the clubs could be set for a tussle over his services even though Moyes is desperate to strengthen his midfield."

Aww, just meet the clause, fellas. Don't eff this up with hardball.

Yeah, I'm in full fanboy mode right now.

That side would be more than capable of running away with the league, again.

That's the exact lineup i put together yesterday. It's a pretty obvious yet competetive side.
