I think Ross, Rumbelow, and LaMarche are gone. They have nothing to gain by coming back.
There will be lots of competition in the outfield, and a couple of infield positions. There is no point in speculating who will or won't make the roster, they have all worked hard for this program and can play a valuable role going forward. But we won't have room for everyone.

although I think Stevenson may turn into Maineri's next "too talented to bench" guy.
Baseball is a funny sport. It would not surprise me at all if Stevenson hit ~.290 next year and Laird dropped off. You never know. That said, Laird was amazing at the end of the year.

I'm making the assumption that Ross return.
Bad assumption.
Why? Another year with improvement in offense should land him a good bit more $$$.
Ross hit well at the end of the season, too.

Oh not at all.

Agree if Ross thinks he can hit around .300 next year then he may give it a shot.....although it is pretty risky for a catcher.

Ross was a .210 hitter all season long. Never really got too hot or too cold. He was stead at that number.

Why?
His defense is as good as it gets behind the plate. That is the reason he will make it in the pros - any offense is a bonus for whatever team he is playing for. There is no guarantee that his offense will improve drastically from now until next year and it doesn't need to. He got drafted for his defense and that is going to be what makes him successful at the next level.

You'll see a few guys get cut like normal too
Considering there's only 2 commits that have a chance at leaving, I imagine it'll be more than a few.

I've been hearing that we'll more than likely move Ibarra over to 2nd so the question mark will be 3rd.

Ross was a perfect example of what I said above. Baseball is a funny sport. He drilled the ball right at people all season. Could have very easily hit .270 this year.

Not sure where you have heard this, but I don't think this is going to happen. Ibarra has a strong arm at third base and Jared Foster is capable of playing 2B.

Foster at 2nd would be ideal. Definitely need him in the line-up.

That would make sense you could get 2009 type offensive numbers from your middle infield (minus HRs of course) but still it could become a top defensive middle infield as well.

Warren Morris has one year of eligibility left.

False.

Moore isn't that great but you guys act like he is hitting .400. He sat the bench for a reason. I doubt Ross comes back unless he just loves the team. His best friend Jones is leaving and I doubt improving his avg at the plate even a little will put him in the top 10 rounds next year. Lamarche is probably gone as well as Rumbelow because they won't have an opportunity to start in order to improve their stock much more. Ibarra will be back though.

Some of you might want to go ahead and go crazy then. If Nick Longhi doesnt sign, he's our starting 1st baseman next season IMO.
Moore had a couple clutch hits this year, but it's not like he hit EXTREMELY well at .281 with 0 homers (96 AB). He also is a little shaky in the field. Definitely doesnt belong at 3rd base, could very well play 1st but had an error or two there IIRC.
Longhi is a big time recruit, dont count him out. Moore seems like a career PH type of guy.

Some of the commits will be asked to go elsewhere as well.

Plus we are bringing in a couple guys who are 2B prospects.

Don't be surprised to see Poche from Lutcher in the starting rotation next year.
