I'm at BWW now, but feeling I may be able to upgrade. But, there is actually people, which in my short estimation cant be said of many other places in town.

Also looking for some casual, local dinner recs for tomorrow night.

Until Twisted Root Burger opens, unfortunately BBW or Rotolos is probably the best place to watch a game. I know, it sucks.

You started the same thread last night and were given better options. For ignoring those recommendations you deserve your lukewarm budlight at BWW.

I miss Legends. Used to have a blast up there watching the games and an even better time meeting the bookie there on Mondays when it was time to collect! Haven't been up there in a couple of years but it had been changed to Fat Cat's and it sucked. Is it still that?

Fat Cats closed midway through the football season last year, rotolos is actually one of the better choices now with $3 draft and a good beer selection

pretty much the only place in town i'd go to watch a game. some other places with tv's, but either the tv's suck or the place isn't conducive to game watching. supposed to be a decent sports bar type place off north market, but i'd never drive all the way up there to drink/watch a game

I did not start that thread nor did I see it. I asked where to watch the LSU game with locals if that's what you mean. And I would not say the response was outstanding as I was basically told Gigolos and that's it.

Are you thinking of Fumblebrewski's? It's just past the Brookshire's on N Market. I went back in the fall when I was in town visiting. I thought it was pretty mediocre. Good view of TV's from everywhere but the service was pretty awful. The waitress couldn't even name any of the draft beers from memory. It's not the Flying Saucer, you've got all of about 6 on tap. Seriously she couldn't recall Mich Ultra, Blue Moon, Sam Adam's Boston Lager and a couple of others.
