Hindsight 20/20, but not sure how you get swept from Omaha without your second-round pitcher seeing the mound.

I realize CPM maybe didn't have confidence in him, but a rusty Glenn seemed like a big risk.

Hasn't everyone been calling for Glenn all along and saying how they have no confidence in Eades? I really hate you shitheads.

Pretty obvious to say now, but yes. We shouldn't have been looking ahead. Glenn hadn't pitched in 27 days and it showed greatly today. I had a feeling that was going to be a problem, hence why i was very big proponent of starting Glenn over Eades in the regional.

But I wouldn't blame these performances on pitching. Once again our hitting absolutely disappears in the postseason.

I've always wanted Eades to start.

To win four in a row he was going to need to start eventually.

Glenn didn't make LSU suck at the plate.

This is the million dollar question this offseason. But I agree, 3 runs total isn't going to win you many ballgames.

There's a reason LSU only used lefties today. It was the right way to approach UNC.

The Tigers left 948975984 runners on base....only story of the game.

Doesn't matter when you can't hit with RISP

Same thing with bunting. Two off seasons ago everyone was bitching about us bunting too much and now.......

Yeah but maybe he only gives up 2 runs and that changes the entire game. Maybe Mainieri bunts if the game is close or tied.

Could have mattered regardless of the bats. The again Eades could have given up 10 in the first inning

Perhaps. Not sure it would have mattered.

Personally I feel Eades or McCune should have started and I felt that way and stated it prior to Glenn getting roughed up.
