If LSU can get out the Top of the 9th cleanly, without any more runs, we head to the Bottom of the 9th with the heart of the order, 3-4-5.

That is it. The entire season can be riding on the three guys we have relied on more than anyone else this season on offense. Alex Bregman, Mason Katz, and Raph Rhymes with Ibarra on call.

Can you write a better ending to a career for two of LSU's seniors? If we can just get the first two men on base, Rhymes can erase the slump he has been in with one swing of the bat.

I don't know about you but I wouldn't want any other 3 guys at the plate to lead off the 9th.

Doesn't matter anymore. It starts with their next AB.

I like how you laugh at two of our better players. They are in a slump but just like Jacoby was hitting .200 earlier this season, slumps end eventually.

Why not now?

Raph and Bregs have been awful this CWS when runs are on the line, I have no reason to believe this will change when the season is on the line.
