Why wouldn't the Wolves call the Suns and just get Oladipo at 5? They have a player the Suns want and kind of need(Williams). They could swap picks and Phx could send the Wolves a future 1st (Lakers pick?). Makes more sense than dealing with NO and taking a chance..

New GM maybe wants to make a top 5 pick? Obviously if a deal like you outlined is on the table NO never gets the call, but I would certainly drop back to 9 for Wilson Chandler. If you're hell bent on a PG then at least one of Burke, McCollum, MCW should be available at 9.

Phoenix already has 3 PF/SF tweeners though.
Beasley and both Morris twins.
