You should be able to flip him immediately. The problem is Minnesota had been valuing him as a #2 pick and wanted something crazy like Pau Gasol in exchange. If you had lower expectations, something like Wilson Chandler, you could probably move him quickly in a 3 way for something you can use.

As deep as Denver's roster is, PF is actually where they are kind of thin so it really would be a win win trade assuming they don't want to hang on to Chandler because of Gallinari's injury.
