Jaleo and any of the other Jose Andres spots are pretty great. Oyamel is his take on Mexican street food. I also really like Central for unfussy, updated French bistro fare.

I dined at both of these places this summer and really enjoyed them. At Jaleo, I had a really nice gin and tonic that I have tried to create with mixed success.

I also liked Cuba Libre fwiw.
