Love the use of quotes. I still cannot begin to comprehend how you are continuing to argue with the assertion that Rafa's 2012 Wimbledon loss was "blamed on injuries." One of us apparently has a counting problem and neither will admit it so let's move on.

Yes, I do think it's bullshite. When Fed does it, I am just as disgusted as when Rafa does. Be a fricking man, admit it wasn't your day and move on. I know it's human to try and rationalize poor performance (or defeat in spite of strong performance) but some of the top tennis players take excuse making to a whole new level.

Separately, out of curiosity, did you bet on a tourney winner or just on individual matches (apologies if you stated this earlier)? I put money on Murray (in part based on your analysis -- I give credit where credit is due) at +375 to win the whole thing and am liking the way his draw is shaking out.
