credible or no?

The all-knowing tiger rant frowns on this site for football news. I was wondering if you guys think its any good for soccer reporting.

No.

It's better than what it used to be, but there are a ton of places better than BR.

I mean, it's not credible in the sense of reporting its own news.

It's a good aggregation spot for news from around the web. You have to sift through a bunch of slideshows and turrible opinion pieces, as well as bullshite speculation of transfers that will never happen.

But they won't do any reporting, really. It's good for brief snippets of info that you don't feel like going around and looking for yourself.

I don't see why it's so awful. There are some good and bad stuff just like with every newspaper or Web site.

Barrett Sailee, who does the SEC Football for B/R, is as knowledgeable a source about the SEC as a whole as I've come across. Dude knows his stuff.

Most of the lead writers are very good, but it's the unpaid "Featured Columnists" who can write anything they want and just make up shite that give it a bad rap.

B/R produces more bad stuff than good stuff, and the good stuff is usually just general knowledge type of information that you could have figured out by yourself if you spent an hour Googling it.

It's a very good time saver.
